J.A.M. Session Overview

Welcome to J.A.M. Session

J.A.M. Session (joy, appreciation, and maturity) is a Christ-centered, biblically based, and life model-informed character transformation coaching series that helps busy leaders, stressed achievers and midlife career changers increase their joy capacity so they can live life more abundantly in the present and the future.

The series was developed during a five year period in my life transformation journey when I had the increased capacity to begin sharing what I was learning about returning to joy with my wife and children at home, with team members at work, with neighbors and friends in my circle of influence, and as a Joy Starts Here group facilitator at church.

In that season, I became expert at sampling content from Life Model Works authors, thought leaders, therapy practitioners and ministry partners, and then synthesizing, arranging and producing training materials in the form of emojis and pictograms that made it easy for everyday people to conceptualize technical concepts in intuitive ways so that they could understand how to apply return to joy skills in their everyday relationship with God and others.

Coaching Tracks

The coaching tracks are sequenced in a “bottom-to-top” order that is inspired by Bloom’s taxonomy of cognitive learning (i.e., knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation). This means we will start our journey at the bottom of the tracks list with “Base Lines” and then work our way up each volume to the top of the list (e.g., Past, Present, Future).

Along the way, we will take time to explore and discuss Bible references, relational brain skills exercises, article downloads, and video clips that are hyperlinked to key concepts, pictures, and emojis in each quadrant display.
